Megan and James were married earlier this month at the beautiful Pharsalia outside of Charlottesville. The couple met when they were in high school and when college saw them going to different schools, they took their relationship one day at a time. Here they are 7 years later! James’ family owns the Saunders Brothers Nursery & Orchard in western Virginia. They are known for their peaches, and Megan knew from the start that their wedding would be themed around peaches! They used peaches as name cards on the tables and the color palette was based around the vibrant peach color.
Megan’s grandfather wrote a beautiful song for Megan and James that he sang to them during the ceremony. Inspiration for the song came to him after James asked him for Megan’s grandmother’s ring. He also crafted the beautiful cross that the two exchanged vows in front of. The reception was under a large tent with stunning flowers and luscious peaches everywhere. Megan and James partied the night away with family and friends. What a perfect day for a wedding. Congratulations, you two!
