Jessica and Matt were married last Saturday at the Independence Golf Club in Midlothian, Virginia.  In front of their family and closest friends, they read their handwritten vows to one another.  The vows were sweet, funny, honest, and full of love for one another.  This was one of the most emotional wedding days I have ever photographed.  Jessica shared a first look with her father that (just wait til you see) will bring tears to your eyes.  Her first look with her groom was equally as emotional.  Her entire day was speckled with details that honored her loved ones.  She wore her grandmother’s jewelry – she’s dreamed of this since she was 9 years old.  Her bouquet had single flowers (a yellow rose & blue hydrangea) symbolizing her late grandparents and a red carnation to honor her mother.

Jessica was the maid of honor at a 2015 wedding and she told me then that I would be photographing her wedding one day and I am SO GLAD she meant it! Matt and Jessica’s wedding day was absolutely perfect and I am so honored to have been a part of it!  To see their engagement session, click here.  I’m sharing some of my favorites from their wedding day below.
