This year, I decided to jump on board and do Lara Casey’s Power Sheets and I have to say, I’m so excited! But a (painfully obvious) part of doing this is that I have to actually do them! Being a new mom and a business owner, I don’t have a whole lot of time on my hands…but I know how important it is to take time for myself. So sharing some goals and tidbits about my journey this coming year on the blog will help hold me accountable (I hope!).
…Yall. I started this blog on December 22. It is now January 25. JANUARY 25th!!!! Goodness! I’m not going to lie…this mom thing? It’s hard! Actually, this mom thing…it’s incredible..and not that hard. If the only thing I had to do was be a mom, I’d be golden. But that fact of the matter is, I also have to be a wife, a business owner, a friend, and sister, a daughter, and somewhere in there, I still have to find time to me. Finding balance in those things is what has been hard! And I swear every single time I get my Powersheets out to work on them, Gabriel wakes up!
So this month, I’m posting my January Goals on January 26. I’m still doing it and I’m still sharing them because the part that I have completed in my Powersheets has given me my word of the year…and that’s GRACE. I’m giving myself grace in this new season of life. This is a beautiful, sacred, messy, perfect season!
