Amber’s vision for her wedding was simple: to marry her best friend and spend time with close friends and family. And that’s exactly what she did. She managed to do what I think a lot of brides want to do, but because of family, friends, or Pinterest dreams, end up not being successful at. She and Clark did a small, standing only pop-up wedding at a park in downtown Richmond where just their family was in attendance. Amber wore a lace gown by BHLDN. She carried a bouquet and wore a floral crown made by the wonderful floral designed, Amanda Burnette. Clark wore a navy blue suit and champagne tie. A simple rose boutonniere also made by Amanda Burnette tied into Amber’s flowers.
After their short and sweet ceremony that included tears, a few jokes, and lots of laughter, we went up to the Virginia State Capitol for their portraits. The grounds of the capitol building are so beautiful and we found lots of great little spots to capture some intimate portraits!! Seriously..if you haven’t been there, you must visit!!
Amber and Clark danced the night away with their family and the rest of their friends in the Vintage room at Pearl Raw Bar in the Fan District of Richmond. Amber and Clark, thank you for asking me to capture your wedding day for you, and I’m so glad to call you not only clients, but also friends. I wish you a life full of love! Congratulations!!
